About Pedigree

'Matty' is a granddaughter of the incomparable Aurab. Her sire, Aya Matigua, by Aurab, is out of the Abu Farwa daughter Abbi, and her dam is also an Abu Farwa daughter. On her dam side, FV Love Affair, is once again double Abu Farwa breeding through the stallions, Farlane and Ab Salute who were extremely influential in the Fairview Farm breeding program in Canada. Abu Farwa is a known source for top performance athletes.

As A Broodmare

Matty has produced both an extremely nice, stallion quality colt, Azria Sharav, though gelded and a VERY nice filly, Azria Halimah, for us. Both were sired by MV Soaring Wind. Her filly is sadly for sale due to the loss of our junior stallion. Matty is in foal to MV Soaring Wind once again for a 2006 foal. She has proven to be an exceptionally good cross with our stallion, producing foals with heavy Abu Farwa breeding and several lines to Aurab that are good sized, good bodied, athletic horses with excellent personalities. We expected a quality foal from this cross and we have not been disappointed in the least.
